I have followed your resto, you did a nice job, you should be proud, like you I wanted to retain the 30's look . . . ish.

Coincidentally mine is a 70's four seater too, I am in to year four now. I intended to re-upholster the seats my self, I even bought a secondhand industrial sewing machine and some leather but life is getting shorter and I need to hurry the project up hence the purchase.

I have driven the naked chassis and am currently attacking the wings. The car came dismantled in several boxes, talk about a jigsaw puzzle, plenty of missing pieces. To be honest I was mad to take it on, I even had to fabricate a new chassis and replace about 25% of the steel in each of the wings. I have known and admired the car from new and kinda just had to have it, deffo heart over head.

Another coincidence, see you are a hillclimber, me too, I have been heavily involved in the French national championship for the last twenty years, both as a driver and as an organiser.
