Always use a brand new drill when you drill aluminium. A drill used in steel can harbour tiny partials of steel which can get into the Au and May very well cause galvanic corrosion. Body shows carefully separate tools used on Au. Sure it will be fine - if you are unfortunate enough to get it you have to cut it out ahead of the corrosion as it becomes inter-granular.
