Good evening.
Thnaks for the nice and informative comments.
And your steering looks very nice Heinz. I have visited the Holtztechnic site and the have nice options as well as Allon White. Thoug they are very expensive and there are a lot of other stuff you can buy for upgrading your car, it is nice to have something to do in the garage when coming home with the "new" car from England. I try to learn as much as I can about these newer cars and have also read some of Dave W:s post about How to... Even if I had owned my +4 for 28 years, it has happened a lot during the years. Therefore I am a keen reader of almost anything on TM. It is very good to be able to take part of as much knowledge as I can find here.
Yes, I am very anxious to have the Roadster in my garage. And, I just do not hope that it will be a terrible weather when I fetch my car in the middle of January. I have to take my +4 on a trailer, go through most of Europe down to Calais and the the tunnel to Dover. The same way back. I am very glad that my friend, Bjorn, will go with me, as he will fetch a Land Rover and take back to Sweden. We will take it easy and stay a night in Germany or Holland both on our way to and from UK. We also intend to stay a few nights in England, which I look forward to. I love the english breakfast.
Keep your fingers crossed for me as the trip can be a hard one.
Any further comments or advice about my "new" car will be appreciated and perhaps I have to have new tyres, if the original ones are still fitted.
Best wishes and enjoy your holiday. So far it is nice weather to take out yor Mogs from the garage and have a ride.
Ken.
