Two very odd crashes - there wasn't an obvious reason for either Albon or Magnusson to have the accidents they did, and they're both experienced & reliable finishers. Maybe as evening fell, their tyre temperatures dropped off?

This year's wing mirrors are bigger: and not big enough yet to judge by the number of collisions!

Overall, the field does seem to be closing up. Red Bull are fastest by maybe 0.5 seconds a lap today - but fragile, which can only give the rest hope. You'd take the fast unreliable car every race though, wouldn't you!

& has Verstappen matured? He's no longer trying to win every corner at all costs.
