Tom you might have the same problem as I had.
My first thought was also, replace it.
But since it is a simple and cheap repair, especially now that the part is known;
See link below.I would go for this. I have been driving several thousand Km now without any problem after my fix.
If it's the same problem I'd go for it, replacement is still possible.
