Unfortunately I had to have the cat, the old one being integral with the original manifold on the Sigma engines....rather a shame as the cat represents a fair bit of the total cost of the sports manifold!
I'm visiting a friend tomorrow who manufactures silencers for various race cars...he's going to look at making up a halfway house silencer...sort of mid way between the Librands and the standard Morgan one to see if we can make the Sigma engine sound a bit more sporty without being over noisy at high revs.
