Those would be Bat-aid, when I worked in the car spares industry we sold a lot of those
In my impoverished early motoring days I bought more than one packet of those. I see they still make them, surprisingly.

Also in my tool bag back then would be Radweld for water leaks and Easystart for cold mornings, both of these still on the shelves at Halfords today.
I'm not sure about Radweld but Easystart definitely did the business.
