The outer front hole is a drain for the window channel, if its blocked the channel can fill with water and then can spill inward. You see this when driving in the wet or even washing the car.
Ours was rectified indirectly as we had to replace the front sidescreen perspex and the dealer made sure the new sealant did not block the drain hole.
What I can tell you is the sidescreen perspex is coated and if you scratch through it, there is no way to polish the scratch out, so the only fix is to replace the perspex. The hit is that you can not purchase just one side piece from the factory, you have to purchase a complete set which is very expensive.

As your car is new I would advise that the dealer sorts it for you.. Just seen that you have cleared it yourself.. so well done.. I would be careful when you clean the car as a sudden rush of water on the screen can overpower the drain hole and then it spills inward.
