I found the S5's carbon hardtop changed the car's character from soft-top Roadster to hardtop GT - (relatively!) calm & much more useable on a long run, especially motorways.
& fuel consumption would also drop from open-topped 25mpg to nearer 30mpg.

Fitting the top took a bit of fettling - all part of the full Morgan ownership experience!
- initial adjustment by the dealer
- I discovered that the perspex had only been sealed top & bottom: dealer took it out & refitted with neater finishing to the sealant, *all the way round the window*!
- then I added some B-shaped rubber to the boot lid, which stopped the rattle over bumps. Maybe Morgan thought that metal in contact with carbon fibre wouldn't make a noise. Or maybe they didn't expect such a tight fit!
- and finally, the Dealer drilled some holes in the trailing edge. Once the hardtop is fully fettled, cabin airflow is insufficient to prevent misting on the side windows. The extra holes did the trick, creating a throughput of air in all weathers & clear windows.
