BigLes, Was that no.1 plug by any chance? The no.1 plug on my GDI was not that bad but it was rusty. On the GDI there are some drain holes in the back of the cam cover so it will help if these are kept clear.

Rog, the thing with the Duratec plug leads is that the sealing rings have vent notches in them so they are bound to let water down to the plug chamber. Well my 07 Duratec was like that.
