Has anybody experience of putting one of these on a Plus 8? I've been on the internet and can find many positive comments from people who've had them in Range Rovers etc but not in a Morgan. I'm sure there must be someone out there who has made the mod. I'm not looking to massively increase the bhp but rather to improve the cars drivability. Any performance gain would be a bonus. Having driven my car for maybe only 500 miles or so I just feel the engine isn't always particularly happy just trundling around the countryside. If I put my foot down there is nothing wrong with the power, just that for most of the time it does not feel as smooth as it should.
Before anyone asks, the car has just been serviced by BHM so I am sure there is nothing that requires adjustment. I've had experience of the engine in RR x 2, a Rover Vitesse, a TVR Griffith and an early Plus 8 and can only surmise that maybe all of the emission regs have gradually strangled the engine so that it is not performing as it could.Any advice gladly welcome.
