Just wanted to fully clarify this theme, so asked MMC further...
question:
Does the Morgan +4 2.0L Duratec MY 2009 have the BMS (Battery Management System)? If there is a "smart alternator", then subsequently there must be a BMS. Unless MMC did some alternation of the system.
If there is a BMS, how to reset the system in the case of battery replacement?

The Morgan does not have the BMS as we do not have Body Control ECU fitted to this vehicle.
So, obviously there is no need and possibility to reset the BMS (as it does not exist in classic Morgans with Duratec engines). Though there is a smart alternator, but without BMS.
