We are pointing at the wrong people here?
The car makers are being pushed by the competition to provide the safest vehicles. Who would have thought Volvo would cause such trouble eh?
So the safety scores are promoted, not a bad thing in many ways but has it gone mental? Cars are now mostly peer equal with the exception of brave Dacia, this means all of the gubbins we mostly switch off weighs 40Kgs (?) and costs £2k (?) per car. Could it not be an option pack?
You have to wonder, I quite like Dacia's stand on it.

It does most things for her but she is never certain if it is done and so has to try and look for the widget that does it. Over complex and so difficult to instruct it becomes distracting. She has not sold the Micra yet!
