Spain have just smashed it in the green transport game. The legendary train builders Talgo have rolled out the world’s first high-speed hydrogen-powered train, giving the rest of Europe something to chase.

A production capacity of 600,000 tonnes of green hydrogen in 2021.
A target of 600 MW electrolyser capacity by 2024, increasing to 4 GW by 2030.
Spain accounting for half of Europe’s growth in dedicated renewable capacity for hydrogen production.
Iberdrola commissioning the largest plant producing green hydrogen for industrial use in Europe, with a 100 MW photovoltaic solar plant and a 20 MW electrolytic hydrogen production system.

Not everything is rosy in the Green industry in Sweden especially regarding the once rising star Northvolt battery production
