I know the usual answer is 'I can't hear it anyway!' but I like a bit of music in my 1994 +8 when I'm not dashing around. My radio has output for 4 speakers but only has the standard 2 x 4" ones fitted behind the seats. I'm thinking of fitting 2 more speakers under the dashboard. There's room for one on the driver's side between the steering column and the outer bulkhead wall. On the passenger side there is possibly room behind the glovebox BUT the loudspeaker magnet would be next to the 14CUX ECU which runs the fuel injection. So the question is, would a strong magnet not affect the ECU or is this a complete no-no?
