Ours was produced in March 2012 .... we were the ones who found the sensor attached with an M8 bolt ... the bolt hole in the old sensor had rather obviously been enlarged with a file....
Our car may of course be an oddball ... we found out a couple of years ago that it was supplied with what seem to have been some "prototype" Suplex spring/damper units (we were told this by the developer when one broke and had to be replaced)
Go figure ... but it is a Morgan so anything goes!
