Kris... I meant that after the initial running in of 1000 miles, then use the full rev range whilst driving every now and again to loosen up the engine. The engine really needs to be under load when doing it...not stationary.

When are you picking it up? I'm taking my 4/4 down to Allon Whites early in March to have one of their hoods fitted.

Interesting about the ECU Bob.....that the same for a few cars I've owned. A bit simpler on my motorbike if the battery is disconnected...I just have to turn the throttle around to the max position and back to zero a couple of times to reset....otherwise I don't get full power.

The ECU on the 4/4 Sport is a bit of a lash up...a Morgan ECU piggybacked to the Ford one and relies on a clutch switch to get round problems of hanging onto revs whilst changing gear...something the Ford cars do and not what you want in a lighter Morgan. My switch was faulty and resulted in a very abrupt drop in revs when changing gear and a kangarooing car!
