The disconnect worked, but is a sticking plaster. To make it easier when, not if
, it happens again, I fitted a Richbrook Discarnect battery master switch with fuse link. It will make it much easier to disconnect the battery and has the added benefit (as and when needed) of providing additional security against theft.
