Unfortunately, I don't understand this discussion. I don't know of any vehicle type that cannot be improved by purchasing and installing aftermarket parts. I know very few sports car drivers who don't make improvements to their vehicles in some way.
The suspension on my 2022 PlusFour is very good. I had the opportunity to drive Ruut's PlusFour with the Nitron upgrade. This makes the suspension even better. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether an improvement is worth the money or not.
And when the manufacturer adopts better components as standard, there is haggling over the price.
