I remember seeing the remnants of a failed CofA home constructed wooden aircraft, apparently the chap who had created it had not used the required type of glue...! His widow gifted it to the flying club and they passed it on to the airport authorities who mounted it on the back of a truck which was then used as a "float" decorated specifically to promote the airport on a local gala day....
That's a double bummer there, the bloke must have been a little upset..
