Job done

This is exactly what my mechanic has just done.
Bottom of bellhousing trimmed off and plated and the bottom of the crossmember bent in to gain 10mm clearance.
In addition to that I have 195/65 R15 tyres fitted instead of the standard 195/60 profile. This gains about 10mm too.
Some time back I made a comparison chart of the tyre sizes used by Morgan and the proposed 195/65 R15 tyres that I have now fitted to my car.

Morgan tyre size comparisons As you will see the Plus 4 is fitted with the lowest tyres of the trad series. In my case this was compounded by a batch of poor quality rear springs that were fitted to cars in the 2011 to 2013 period.
