Went out to a party last night in the old Kangoo Loser Cruiser as the kids call as someone blocked in the Volvo. Returning at midnight the lack of good street lights, pouring rain, glare and reflection and as I didn't know the road, may have gone in a bus lane and gone at 23 mph (no digital dash and no cruise to set at 20) through a 20mph camera …oh joy. …..
Today had to pick up son & new wife at Heathrow from their honeymoon. Who the **** designs an airport that you queue for over 1 mile from the motorway then stationery in the tunnel. through traffic lights, roundabouts at 7am in the morning ? Three lanes into terminal 3 pick up ( multi storey car park):, filtering down to one lane and up the ramps to floors 2 and 3 - utter utter madness - the place wants levelling and starting again !! The positive side is they employed someone to press the button at the barrier and give you your ticket ! World leading…….
Im hoping to adjust quickly to being back, accepting the dismal cleanliness standards of my local supermarkets yesterday compared to those I’ve enjoyed for 5 weeks. I’ve got end of holiday blues but seeing TMers photos of Morgans, Morgan meet ups, cheers me up, very grounding plus seeing Stephen888 on his drive to Croatia was special looking back .
