I doubt I'd be disappointed by an F40, merely that I'll never achieve it!

I love all the comments. I went into the showroom a few weeks back on spec and had a look at the car. All the comments seem quite close to the truth !
Panel gaps you could fit a mini in. Styling by ruler. Monster size and presence all in one. Interior configured with an etch-a-sketch (google it if you are below 45). You could feel the interior quality and hand made build, in a good way.
It certainly goes quietly about's its business visually and I would expect audibly. It is for someone who does not like to be seen. The finish of the car is excellent, not a mark.
I just happen to think the Aeromax is the same - everyone will be looking at the car ! You can be totally anonymous.
If I was looking for a beautiful subtle quality carriage I would be looking for an Iso or other rare, unknown car. Not important though as it will be a Max before anything else.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Without wishing to steal the owners thunder, if I can recall correctly, this particular car ownership path (or a section of it) went: Maserati Gran Turismo > Porsche 997 C2S PDK > Bristol Blenheim S > I'll let him fill in the next stage of his search for 4-seater nirvana If a Bristol is your thing, this particular vehicle is in perfect condition and has been upgraded by the factory to a much higher spec than new. The Bristol has sold to a former Bentley Brooklands owner, which was sold recently by SGT, but as part of the transaction I now find myself the owner of a virtually brand new Plus 4 SS! Do I keep it or put it up for sale? I think that when I get back from the Aero Club trip to Italy, I'll drive it and let you all know the decision...

Brian, I thought you were 'rationalising ' the fleet? regards G You're right G, that was the point of the exercise and as I already have a trackday special, it looks like it will have to go. Cheers B
