The build record is a series of photos following the car from chassis to dispatch, all in a very posh leather wallet.
Enjoy the visit & show us lots of pics Ian
You can also get the build record on a CD, which is nice in this age of digital photos. On the Aeromax and the Plus 4, I did both and am glad I did so.
PS - Shiremog, as per the comment above, that red is stunning - a really nice choice.
I am a little disappointed with the Build Record. Some of the photos are of the car "as found" by the photographer and no effort has been made to tidy things a little for the photo. Parts boxes and tools are left in view which is probably OK but in some cases things could have been moved. In one photo, near the end of the book, a worker's jacket is draped over the folded up hood and in another a polishing cloth is left draped over the RH tail lights.
Perhaps I am just a little fussy and others may prefer it that way. None the less I would still have it again.
Shiremog, I like your information and it helps me to prepare myself for my Roadster. But I hope, I do not have the same troubles you had. By the way: The built of my Roadster should be beginning this week. I will update as soon I know more about my car...

It's not really been that bad, I just like complaining
The faults down to the car have been: The clutch pressure switch. They really should have used a better switch, although I've not heard of anyone else with the same problem.
The wiper connector. I was probably unlucky with that.
The horn connection coming off the horn push. Bad assembly.
The water leak on the bulkhead. That concerned me as the water was dripping straight onto the "fly by wire" throttle control. I hate to think what the car would do if water got inside the unit
I look forward to hearing your comments when you hit the road! Ian
