Ian. If you look up above the steering column from inside the footwell is there a bunch of cables that come through the middle of the horizontal surface? On the Plus 4 that is where the main cables enter the area behind the dash (on the right hand side, so passenger side on mine). Naturally the Roadster could be completely different.

Flattery will get you everywhere wink
Compare the first & last picture in my earlier post. In the first picture, to the left of the steering shaft & slightly above it is the grommet which allows the cables ( and the rain!) to go through the bulkhead. The new cover goes over the bunch of cables & the grommet.

Glad to hear you'll be using your car. I can never understand someone having a Mog & not driving it ooo

Oh now I see it..... That's very neat work, looks original. Are you an engineering personage?

I wouldn't be capable of such a feat.

It's a completely different layout. If you look at the first picture in my post about the cover, you'll see a strangely shaped box on the horizontal surface you referred to. Inside that are the fuses & engine management bits. There's a large hole in the bottom opening to the area behind the dash. Most cables go that way, but a lot go through the grommet you can see just below that box. That's where most of the water goes in on my car.

Used to be in my distant, miss-spent youth cheers
I had a bit of practice building my little traction engine & more recently, a new set of oil lamps for it ( sorry Graham, haven't posted a picture of the engine for months grin2)

Don't be fooled by the picture. She's only little. About 4 foot long & weighing about half the Mog wink

Looks absolutely gorgeous. I never would have realised it was so small. I assume it is a working scale model?

Ian , Looks like someone has spent a lot of time on this.

Looking carefully the size of the horn should have been a clue to the scale doh

Then I looked at the number plate, 2008 plate, but its black, have the boys in blu stopped you yet, and out of interest what does the log book say, and does it have an SVA?
