Well, It may be too big for me. I'm a Fat 44" (no use hiding the truth, the gut speaks for itself), if it doesn't fit I will be happy to sell it on at cost, so you would save the postage. But I am hoping it will fit of course!

Re the eye protection I recently dug out my old Stadium Mk 9 motorcycle goggles because I was having problems with watering eyes and the cold. Instant relief, no watering eyes. As I sometimes wear glasses I had a look at the catalogue from Classic Spares? down in Hertfordshire and they had a pair made for going over ordinary shape glasses for about £20 and were perfect, not a draft anywhere. Might not look the height of fashion but who cares.

Well I am no light weight but the Mog jacket I won at Waddesson is a medium and it is a snug fit i.e. ok with a shirt but not shirt & jumper. I normally take a 44 or XL.

As an aside to the goggles thing, I've met a man today who was hit in the eye three weeks ago by a golf ball. He's a keen golfer. It split his eyeball open and it has filled with blood. The medical view is that it's unlikely he'll regain his vision. So it's a cautionary tale for those who may consider driving a 3 wheeler without eye protection.
Six months ago my mother's neighbour caught his eye on a projection in the garden with similar results. Makes you think.

.....particularly if you're planning on driving your M3W on a golf course.

Exactly that. What are the chances eh? But a pigeon in the face could be very unpleasant, and on our last jaunt to North Yorkshire, they were a menace on the road, some passing just above the screen, causing MrsW to duck.....HoHoHo

And some years ago on the M5, a lump of flint came off a landrover & trailer, and put a large chip and groove in the front wing of my Golf. That would have been very unpleasant in the face.

I'm only kidding. I know these things happen - I copped a housebrick off an A&J Bull skip lorry strait into the windscreen of my beloved MkI Golf GTI on the A3 near Guilford back in 1986 or so. Very unpleasant experience it was too.

I always wear glasses when flyfishing.
I have seen a photo of someone's eye with a hook in it.
I had to have a hook cut from my upper lip several years ago.Snagged a branch on a back cast and as I turned round it came free and hit my lip.Couldn't push it through as it wouldn't break through the skin so had to go to A&E for it to be cut out. 2 stitches and embarassment!
As for driving, I usually wear glasses due to insects/raindrops etc when in the 4/4, sunglasses or night glasses.
