There is a plastic/bakolite electrical device secured to the underside of my dash.

Originally I thought it was part of the tracker, but it's not.

The Morgan mechanic doesn't know what it is.

Before I pull the dash apart to see what it is connected to, does anyone know what it is.

Hopefully the picture will come out!!

Thanks
Andrew

A guess, is it a receiver for radio remote control?

Andrew,
No idea what it is but I have just gone into the garage to check mine and no I have not got one. So must be retro fitted.

Don't think it is anything to do with the radio as its a newish Alpine unit. The mystery item looks very old world - could be wrong though.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

It could be a blue tooth dongle for the radio

It looks like an IR repeater for the stereo. I think that unit has a remote and this means you don't have to aim under the dash to get it working. There should be another one somewhere
