One shot is with the Matterhorn in the background taken on the road down from Breuil Cervinia on the Italian side. The other is at the bottom of the San Bernadino pass on the Swiss side, en-route to Lake Maggiore.

At the moment I do not know exactly what colour it is. I had a post asking advice about finding out what colour it is. When I am back in the UK at Xmas I will try a local paint shop to see if they can do a match for me.

Andy,

The name of the colour should be in the handbook but that is not always the case.

Some really stunning shots Andy.

I spend a fair amount of time in Austria and really love the scenery in and around the Alps. I haven't explored Switzerland as much and Italy is still on the 'to do' list; however, those photos have inspired me to get going and do it! smile
