Hunt Country Classic - Northern Virginia - 2012
These are photos from the Hunt Country Classic we have near Middleburg, VA once a year on Willoughby Farm. It is usually a wonderful event on a beautiful farm with a large number of British classic cars. This year's event was full of English weather so the turn out was frightfully small. I had the top down and loved the weather. The last picture is of my beast. http://www.mgcarclubdc.com/hcc/hcc_main.html

Compared with last year, as you say the turn out was 'frightfully small' (what a very English turn of phrase!) but the billing did say 'Rain or Shine'! I see you've still got the UK licence plates on- your authorities must be far more laid back than ours. Gerry.

Virginia is the land of the free. They do have good rules about antique cars, but they do have annual property taxes on new vehicles. I had to pay $1 property tax on my Morgan last year. Didn't see the bill yet this year.

I am surprised you don't have a revolution. We once put a small tax on tea and look at the trouble that caused

Looks good and thanks for sharing. I did enjoy my trip to VA many years ago.

It looks just like England in the field and rain. Do you guys still drive around with the roof off like us crazy people over here ? all weathers, frosty mornings and all.
