I totally agree! I was introduced to this combination by my wife (who is a Yorkshire lass). They go so brilliantly well together.

As indeed does apple pie and cheese.

Funnily enough, swmbo just come in with a big tub of French Camembert, something to do with it being on special offer in Waitrose.

Maybe I can have it with a Yorkshire pudding. It's sealed at the moment, I hope it's not that chewey, smelly stuff.

There was a dealer in Sheffield a few years ago, but very low key. I once went over but no Mogs - they were Rover dealers I recall, off Abbeydale Road. The best ones sem to be Mog specific. Gills didn't survive in Bedale either, which is where my Roadster came from, and Lightsphere's two tone. So in recent memory there have been two in Yorkshire. I occasionally trip over to Ledgerwoods, but I had a long chat to BHM at Gaydon, and they are a really nice bunch. Pity it's such a long way away. When I enquired at the factory about a 3.7 Roadster, they put me in touch with Life's. I has a long chat with Dave and he's also a very nice chap, but it's a right trek to Southport from here. Very unpleasant busy roads. Whereas to Ledgerwoods it's desertd rural roads most of the way. I intended to visit Uncle Melvyn, but so far I haven't found the time.

I am intending to attend the Ledgerwood open day, provided the Aero is ready of course.

Good - like to see the Aero. If you let me know where in yorks you live, maybe we can meet up and ride down.

Depends on weather for me though - if it's like today, I'll be giving it a miss. gloomy surrender

I made a point of visiting as many Morgan Dealers as were on my Coastal Route (Ledgerwood, RPM, Lifes, Newtown, Perrenwell, Berrybrook (closed for Sunday), BHM and SGT (on my doorstep as it were).
Others were just too far inland to fit in.
I have to say that they are all very special people and love their Morgans and their customers notworthy notworthy .

The 'Green Goddess' with Phil & Joyce Ledgerwood and LinMog Friends when on my Grande Tour

With the likes of Stratstone Group joining the Morgan Dealerships, maybe they could be encouraged to open up in 'Gods Own County' somestick ,

however, some would say that they can never generate the same customer environment that the 'owner driver/racer dealers etc' quoted above in this thread always do. coffee

I have to say my dealer experience has been exceptional.....

It's very interesting to compare with, for example, Lamborghini, Bentley and Aston. Far more expensive cars, all bought new and really awful dealer experiences. You would not believe the stories if I told you - including one where the dealer loaned my car to a salesman over a weekend without my knowledge, crashed it, repaired it (badly) and then lied about it.

That's outrageous, indeed criminal. I hope you pressed charges. It would enrage me if a garage did that with my mini, let alone a fancy motor. Reminds me of this article in the paper recently ('tho it concern a mechanic "testing the brakes" on a customer's Lambo). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/pictureg...brake-test.html Call me a cynic, but I'm a wee bit sceptical about the 25mph bit

Your story certainly makes any of the minor disagreements I've had with garages over the years seem extremely trivial.
