Beautiful. A coincidence but one came up behind me today just north of Worcester as I was tootling along in the outside lane in my 4/4. Pulled over and he shot past at a rate of knots to the M5......really stirred me!

Looks brilliant. I know red leather is a bit love/hate with most people but I love it.

Looks brilliant. I know red leather is a bit love/hate with most people but I love it. I like red leather. The combination works really well. Already managed to damage the car though!! Spat a stone up under one of the rear wheel arches, sounded like a gun going off! Small dent, off to the paint shop.

Hi James, love the photos beautiful car!! what colour blue is the car it looks almost black? Britt, the Aeromax in question is called Azuralite Blue (or Black) by MMC. It was the launch colour of the Aero SS. The paint has large flecks of metallic blue in it, which make it look blue under sunlight but black most of the time.

Hi All, Seeing as we are thread reviving, I thought I would give it a go, just found this on eBay, wheels are not to my taste & the exhaust exits I would need to see in the flesh, but if its straight & repaired to a high standard, its got to be a cheap way into an Aeromax, but yes a Cat B one! Aeromax

To my original schoolbook understanding the Cats where as follows A= Squashed B= Parts Only C= Major Structural Repair (requiring VIC) before road use D= Light cosmetic damage found to be uneconomical repair for insurance company Now a friend of mine just salvaged a Diahatsu Jeep that was originally Cat-B, however after pestering the insurance Company that all that was required was a Door and a rear lamp, he was given re-classification and is now ligitimitly on the road.!! So would one purchase a repaired Aeromax (i would) as long as it was repaired to factory standard. Would anybody purchase an Aeromax with a story like this has yes i would, but i think the price would start with a 4

Aeromax I have lost track of which car was which but I do know that this was David's car and was a complete write-off. I also know that MMC would not supply the parts to repair the write-offs because they were not repairable to a factory standard. As per my original proviso, I cannot recall if this car was one of them; however, my suggestion would be buyer beware and be VERY careful who checks the car out.
