I reckon this is a photoshop job, but its still quite funny (IMHO).

Anyone here go all out on external Xmas cheer? I just have a single strip of multilights to keep swmbo happy.

While I was away for a week swmbo has put the tree up. Some of its lights can be seen through the window, but that's the extent of the external lighting... smile

We put up a string of classic lanterns bought in 1979... they are a bit like "Trigger's Broom" because they use clear pygmy bulbs which need replacing regularly. This puts the annual cost up (bulbs + electricity ooo ) especially now our beloved EU has banned tungsten filament bulbs... you can only now get the special ones for cookers locally, at about three times the price of the old standard bulbs! Still the original capital outlay is well amortised now... not sure if that meets nearly your definition of "tight" Dave? smile
