I know two people who have gone through underpasses here forgetting they had a rack full of bikes on the roof. Expensive mistake - in one case it was a brand new Merc E class estate with two hugely pricey canondale bikes on top.

Not as funny as when a colleague took the top of a police van off in underground parking. His face was a picture. Had to let the air out of the tyres to reverse it out and clear up the smashed light bar. His first 'accident' in 20 years of driving!

Also, should 'Two Men and a Truck' change their name to 'Two Men and a Convertible'?

+1 A few years ago, we witnesses a lady driver in a VW camper van systematically break every fluorescent tube she passed under as she tried to get out of a car park in Kendal.

She must have been aware of what was happening, but she simply drove on down the centre line below the lights, breaking one after another.

I wouldn't mind, but had she put a bit of effort into steering the thing, she could have driven passed them on either side, albeit that it may have needed a bit more effort on the corners.
