You where spot on the garage said the sunroof needs to come out nothing to do with the screen . Its sorted for Monday £40/- .
£40 is pretty good JTL. I remember fixing exactly this problem on my daughter's Clio a few years back. Took weeks to source the problem, then an Internet trawl to find someone who had fixed said leak, then 4 hours of frustration before finally conquering the thing, followed by an enormous sense of pride when all was refitted and the interior was dry. She sold it a month later Jeremy

If I could have got the job done for £40 I would happily have paid. Took me the best part of a morning and several bruised knuckles. This might give you an idea of whats involved

Thanks I am going to have a crack at it this a/noon thinking of putting the compressure on and giving it a blast with air to see if it will shift any blockage . Can only try then have a look to see if the water runs out . I have preached till blue in the face . I even found a lad I know who has a garage 12 mile from her , has she been , dont have time dad, I spotted her wipers are banging like hell as they work . If she thinks she is getting the mog she is dreaming it would be a wreck in less than a few months. She cant get it into her thick skull that fix it straight away cuts down problems instead she just lets them mount up and wonders why I loose my temper when she moans . If I could have got the job done for £40 I would happily have paid. Took me the best part of a morning and several bruised knuckles. This might give you an idea of whats involved

I'm going from memory here but there is a drain with a connected tube built into the sun roof frame. Before you go the whol hog, check that that drain is clear and that the tube is connected. In my case all was OK so I had to remove the glass and then remove the complete frame. This required taking off the trim that fitted round the inside and working with my fingers to loosen off the fasteners holding the frame in place. Tedious but not difficult.
The rest is simple clean up and re-seal. You will need a tube of sealant - I think I used silicone bathroom sealant but there is better stuff available.
