Hi there,
Just been thinking about the "big" jobs I'd like to do on the Morgan this year. Mine are:
1. Replace steering column (I've order this) as mine needs new bearings and the bottom ring/nut has failed.
2. Fit expansion tank for the radiator (again ordered thanks to BHM).
3. Fit new tracking rod (mine's slightly bend - probably used as a jacking point?) - again ordered.
4. New tyres all round (the treads are fine but coming up to 10 years old).
5. Build some storagae behind the rear seat (like others have done on here).
I think the above is achieveble and will still allow lots of time to enjoy the car and to tinker as time allows!
Happy 2013!
R.

My main "project" for 2013 is to put more miles on the clock than I managed in 2012 Of course that depends greatly on the Great British Weather if we have another summer like the last I might consider fitting floats to the Mog.

Plans for the Mog this year?
A makeover by the factory coming up and then will have a thought about the dashboard. Having met Montezuma over the Christmas break and seen his rather nice dashboard ( very nice car too!) it has given me some ideas.
I am keen to sort out some improved storage for a jack and tools as well.
Fit the aeroscreens that have been sitting in my garage for the past year or so.
Book the Curborough school day and the Prescott Hill climb school day, enter the MAC Rally again, more runs up Prescott whenever they are on offer, hopefully take the car to Vintage Montlhery, Scottish west coast tour and the Italian Lakes.
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!

Done 898 miles in the Lotus in the last year, and no particular excuses for it being so low.OK its not Morgan money but its still 18k sat round doing nothing much and its got to be costing £1 per mile to do it.

Keep the damn battery charged so it is ready to go when I do get a chance to take it out !
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Lots of plans because I will be a part time worker from April, so with the cooperation of MrsW I can get stuck in. Full service - carried over from this year Revised tool tray - I've got the parts, just needs cutting out and 'nailing' together Possible front brake replacement - discs are getting ready so may upgrade and fit Aeroquip flexi hoses. Look again at sump clearance and see what can be done Consider fitting lower front grille kit
