been up your way a few times thats where my family come from .
have a crack at the bridge of Alford hotel road to Tullynessie and on up to Huntly I think its part of the General Wade's old military road , along to Torry A920 and over the top to Bridgend a quick right and stop at St. Marys church its ancient . Its breath taking views all the way . I often wonder has a mog been on any of these roads and am I the first, same with my gargage and lane till one chap told me years ago that a once wooden garage that I knocked down used to belong to Tommy Craigs the local baker he had a 3 wheeler in the 1930s used it all the time . I was not the first mog nut in my village .

Strangely enough I drove that road from Alford to Huntly the day after I got the 3 - a friend needed to go to the shops so we went to the shops in Huntly rather than Alford. Sometimes it's the journey that counts!
Will have to have a look at the rest of the route though it is difficult to go far wrong up this way.

Are we talking the C road up the side of the Bridge of Allan hotel, past Tullynessie or the main road . The C road is great fun . Shame I have to work I just feel like comming up for a good steak lunch a beer and a ride , thats an excuse to my brain as I have weeks of bloody stock taking to do I end up counting in my sleep.

Oops, you're right, I checked the map when I got home and yes the C road was the one we didn't take that day because of the snow that was still lying on the back roads. Mind you we did manage to have a couple of slightly sideways moments where the slushy remains of the drifts were still across the main road.
Haven't been across the Wade road for a while now - must rectify that.

Yes but I must have had a coffee to much as I put Bridge of Allan hotel and it should have been Bridge of Alford hotel pointed it out .
