This Plus 4 has a nice Union flag - looks like a “screw on” type. I saw this one at Waddesdon last summer.

You can get mock screw on ones if you like the look. Had them on my older bonnet....and no, the engine heat didn't soften the glue...if anything it sort of cured it!

I am overwhelmed by the interest my question gave rise to. The ones I have are the “screw on” type with adhesive on the back. My neighbour told me to be careful to not put them upside down, but I can not recognize what is upside.

Bosse, this article will help explain how to 'fly' the flag:

Thank you, but does this article explain how to "fly" on a car?

It won't explain how to turn your Morgan into Chitty Chitty Bang Bang but the Flying & Design sections will explain which side is up and which is down wink

There is no right or wrong way for a badge, if it has been made correctly it will look the same either way up.

Got my sticky ones from MSCC regalia - only a few quid - very good value.

What a pity my 4/4 sport did not have that lovely flagS badge - must have run out when I bought mine in Oct. 2010. Shame really.

If I´m not wrong the "FlagS"-badge was only standard on the Roadster Sport (left side bonnet).
