What about a moto lita steering wheel Dave ( don't forget the leather cowl trim surround now a factory option) Not forgotten that - will be getting a wood wheel. I agree about the leather steering cowl, but I am going to go after market with Allan White as I hear they do a neater job.

Neilda - I can’t wait to misbehave  I am getting the deluxe hood option so that includes the tonneau. I am a fan of driving half tonneau as well, which is another reason for the old style hood as it suits this style best. Not sure about the build record. Is it worth it? My dealer is Richard Thorne and they have been great. If you intend keeping the car, the build record is a nice thing to have... It's not a massive expense (£60 from memory) and is quite well presented in a leather folder. Is it worth it? No. But..... I had pretty much every extra in mine, including driving lamps and luggage rack. I also put the Librands sports exhaust on too. The hood tidy is probably the only thing I don't use as I prefer having the tonneau folded over.

It’s more than £60.00 - I think about £190.00. But I will probably regret it if I don’t get it. I will add a luggage rack later on. You touch on an interesting subject with the Librands exhaust. I am thinking of getting a sports exhaust but I wanted to trial the car without first. The Mog Magazine review of the Roadster a few months back said that the standard exhaust was already quite throaty. Sounds a great spec and I am sure you will love it.
I had the light interior in my roadster and it resulted in black marks all over it, I think the frame was responsible. So a black interior would be my future choice.
On the script badge, I liked both the Roadster and the Morgan scripts and placed the Morgan one over the Roadster one. I did not drill, just superglued.
The 3.0l Roadster engine sounded a little quiet to me so I opted for the Librands. I have not had the pleasure of the 3.7l.
I have put a Morgan badge on the dashboard of a couple of previous cars. They were pin badges,I bought them on line from the factory and removed the fastening bits. I just fixed them with strong double sided tape. They do add to the interior and as you say fill in the blank bit of the instrument panel. As you are considering this with the car in build you may find the factory has a better solution.

I think you're doing the right thing by having the standard pipes and waiting. We'll try to find an excuse to meet and you can hear mine before deciding.... I didn't get the chance to hear it first.
I quite like the sound - but it is moderately loud. A very different tone to a V8 or V12, a bit of a sharper 'buzz' from 3,500rpm (when it really wakes up), quite rumbly below that.

The fact that the black hood won’t show marks, particularly around the hood supports, is a major consideration for me. Plus I also like the slightly more claustrophobic feel of the black lining (am I crazy  ) . It is a little pokey British sports car after all -  I think the example of the dash badge I saw at the factory was an adapted pin badge. It looked great and just finished the dash nicely (see pics below) -

David, If it is of any help, I have brown carpets in my +4 but with distressed brown leather and, along with the Mota-Lita wheel and walnut dash it looks great. The car is Jaguar BRG with Burgundy Red Wire Wheels and spinners. With all the other bits and bobs it looks as much like a 1950's car without the '50's problems. A bit different from my previous +4 which was Lambo Yellow with Blue leather!!!!
Here for a good time not a long time!!

I agree that it looks nice so I will probably go for this.

Being a wimp I have heated seats in my 3.7 roadster ...picked it mid November and been out early doors on a Sunday in the frost with no roof or side screens and been toasty warm !
Seats keep your bum and body warm and heater your feet -- to be honest have not turned the heated seats off yet !
Be the top of the list on another car spec.
