Not sure if any of you have seen this little gem of an article!! The journalist clearly has a bee in his bonnet over Morgans. With his lack of knowledge mind he'd probably be better of writing for VIZ since his inaccuracies are laughable!!

what inaccuracies. OK its a bit flip but its an interesting read. Surprised to find some mass manufactured cars amongst the obvious exotica.

Some posters on here seem to be about as sensitive about any Morgan comments as my wife would be about her weight.

Yes, I read that yesterday and they have highlighted 2 Morgans the new Plus 8 and Aero Supersports but have shown images of a classic and a S1 Aero. Not a lot of time devoted to this article by the researchers, but worse, a dagger through my heart, when they describe the Aero as having been designed by the Muppets. I took mine out today to cheer it up.

This is not as bad as the New York Times reporter who lied throughout his report and went out of his way to set up the Tesla he was testing for failure.

Fortunately for Tesla they were data logging everything the car was doing and quickly called the reporter out on his BS.

As a subscriber to Viz I can assure you that the standard of journalism in that magazine is far superior to that displayed in this article.

Wonder where he got the one a month from, I guess is that they made approx 50 last year as mine was no 41 and delvered in September. one a week sounds more realistic?

I don't quite follow the thought process here. Are the figures wrong? and if the author has a bee in his bonnet about Morgans then he also has one about Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lexus, MG, Maserati and so forth.


Actually I'm rather glad that they are at that bottom of that particular league, it's nice to know that they are still a product for the enthusiast not the mass market.

(I see the PLUS 8 is now selling with the offer of all available optional extras for free - the first time that I am aware of discounts on Morgans being freely advertised).

I saw that there are free optional extras on new Plus 8 orders in Allon Whites newsletter. They costed out up to a £5,700 saving!

I wonder if orders are slowing down a tad?

The Plus 8 is ambitiously priced, so its no surprise that orders are on the slow side. On the bright side though, the fewer they make, the better the residuals.

And there's an "austerity in progress" if nobody at MMC has noticed........
