I have been asked by many to keep them informed of my progress, thus this post. That and I'm bored smile

As some know I was diagnosed with colon cancer approximately 4 weeks ago, and as such after consultations and cameras and scans I had to undergo an operation to remove the offending tumour. On Friday I came into hospital and after a 6.5 hour operation emerged unscathed (well cut, bruised, battered and groggy as anything).

I am now sitting on a ward with all needles, pipes and oxygens removed most faculties working normally and hoping I continue to improve and leave during the week for some R&R at home. I have my iPad and so will be logging on from time to time.

I've yet to see my consultant after the op (he must be sick to the teeth of me after 6.5 hours grin2 ) but I'm led to believe there were no surprises and everything was removed and sent for analysis. Once we have these results back we will know what the next step is. If it has spread to the lymph nodes I will embark on chemotherapy.

Thanks for all your good wishes and support

Cheers

Andy

Cheers

I bet we will not be able to keep you off talkmorgan for a few weeks.

Good luck, and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Andy

Lost for words. If there is anything you need on the geek front just give me a call. illegitimi non carborundum with respect to the stages ahead (and those that can actually speak Latin)

Get some good foods bought in by your friends.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
