The problem with hospitals they are full of sick people and you might catch something so said the care home manager when trying to get my then 95 year old mother out of Derriford Plymouth after she had a fall broken her hip which was screwed and plated. Mother was released 2 days after the op, walking with one stick which she still does today aged 97....
get well patient Boshers

Must admit hospitals are depressing but do an amazing job. Without going into too much detail they entered my body in 5 different locations around my abdomen, cut out a large section of colon (if my colon was a clock they took out about 3 to 5 o'clock) and a triangular piece of 'stomach' (don't exactly know what it is) inwards which contains all the blood vessels and associated lymph nodes and remove it from one of the orifices they created. They then go to the top bit of colon that remains and do a lot of work to release the colon to drop down, install an inverted 'mushroom' shaped piece in the end of the main colon, then insert a robot up my back passage which locates the 'mushroom' pulls the colon together and staples from the inside before being removed! Amazing and incredible. Geniuses if you ask me. And in answer Neil, other than bruising and pain (controlled!) I'm feeling absolutely fine
Cheers

Nice to see you home. With regards to being bored at home, don't worry I'm sure Mrs B will find plenty to keep you amused. I know mine would. We'll see you on Thursday so you can show us you're new orifices then.

Bosh. Just as a matter of interest did they check to see if you were all human given the recent Ikea and other scares. Just wondering if a bit of "Pork"er had got in there ? (as in Porsche)

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
