I think this disagreement on the racism thing is interesting and thought provoking.
Sorry to see Brian saying he is leaving, had a look at his 482 posts and they are varied and intelligent.
No knowledge on Bosh's historical problem comment.
But hope Brian changes his mind.
Anyway - my view -racism is wrong, but we all have prejudices, it is part of human nature and we are not perfect.
It comes out in banter and humour along with many others, sexist, fatist, homophobic etc, etc.
My reaction to a racist joke is to cringe and not to engage in the thread.
But also, I would not complain - I have seen a complaint that made me cringe more then the joke.
You could be in danger of trying to tell others what to think and say.
If we had to stick to talking about nuts and bolts without daring to mention a nipple, might be a bit boring.
