We have covered number plates before, putting cheap non pre '63 plates on expensive hand crafted cars is like wearing cheap trainers with a tailor made suit!
10% of the value of the car seems fair!?

Hi guys,
I'll do a bit more research on number plates.
Nordkapp Challenge,
john, looking at your route unfortunately you are driving up the West of Sweden whilst I am on the East side, I don't know if you thought about crossing over to the East of Sweden and taking the E4 right from the very North right down to Helsigborg, catching the ferry over to Helsingpr in Denmark and then onwards to Esbjerg, the E4 is an excellent road, that way you could say you have pretty much travelled the length and breadth of Sweden (almost), you guys could always pop in for refreshments, my Fiancee is an excellent cook, lucky me.

Ian, I'd love to say yes but given all the boxes we've needed to tick for this it won't easy to change. What you're really saying is you've bought a low mileage aero and you don't want to add miles to it. As my wife would say "use if or lose it"

don't want to put a dent in the front wing.
Front wing should be ok....it is the sump you have to worry about  Hope you have a great drive home,  looking forward to the pics.
