Given that there is an option now for racing seats which just have leather pads/mats on them maybe that is what they are referring to as even the racing seats can be heated?

My mum always taught me that sitting on cold things have you piles! As a result I've always kept away from glaciers.

Heated seats ? The sound of these 55 year old Webers keeps me warm !

After sitting on seat for a long drive you can just see the outline of the mat. I'm about to order heated seats through Allon White. A 3 month wait at the moment, apparently - so it'll be just in time for autumn. The lady of the house needed no persuading for this expense. As to seeing the outline of the mat, is this a problem? Has the appearance got any worse (ie, become permanent to any degree)? Is there anything else I should know about the results of retro-fitting heating mats?

We have heated seats in our VW California camper and in our new Fiat Panda 4 x 4.....they are great.
Would not wish to have them in my Plus Four...would rather spend the money on Suplex front end.
