For me though, getting wiper alignment right also has the added benefit of improving the ambience in the car, especially on those days when conditions dictate you've got to have the hood up... no nasty juddering from the wipers. I agree 100%. My only doubt is to find somebody able to do it properly. The nearest Morgan garage I have it's in Milan, but I do not know how used they are to fix this kind of things. As soon as I am in Milan, I try to check with them.

I just went out to the garage to try some wax on the windscreen.
Got there.
Forgot why I went out there.
Now I'm back.... I remember.

i fully rely on my iphone 5 reminder to alert me to what i need to do, therefore all i need to remember is where my iphone is, once i cannot remember it's location, that will be alzheimer's set in

Now I'm back.... I remember. Neil, Dean, Graham, Bud, I've a bit of a theory developing on this matter. Like many people, I've tended to say after retiring "I don't know how I found time for work"... The theory is that its probably probably due to all the time I waste wondering what I came into the garage for, why I popped into this shop, what did I mean to say in this TM post, and so the list goes on... but I'm happy, I think

Morgan wipers are renowned for their uselessness in the rain! Over the last four years I have experimented with the angle of the blades, bending the arms to increase the pressure, rain-X or equivalent without any real consistency or effect. The only thing that has been the most effective is to replace the rubber blades with silicone. These are cheap on ebay and do the trick. Some minor mods to the fixings will be needed. I thought it was only in England that it rained!

Orthodoc, could you give more detail re the silicone blades , and what mods you made to the blade holders please.

We got caught in a rainstorm last weekend after I convinced my lady to come for a drive with me. The wipers were just not clearing the water off the inside of the screen!!
