Simon

If we get to meet up I certainly owe you a beer. thumbs

Looking at some of the other threads I would support what Matt has said elsewhere excellent site, well thought out with a welcoming environment.

Thanks for providing the site for us all to play with on these cold dark nights. I assume in the summer months it will be like a ghost town around here?

Cheers John. wine

The site traffic has only increased from day one (it now sits at approximately 225+ visits per day). During the first summer (2007) the site traffic increased week on week, month on month; however, we'll have to wait and see what happens now that it is more established.

Generally, on forums, the summer tends to be filled with people arranging meets and as people are driving their cars more often, a different type of question crops up (modifications, changes, minor repairs, etc). This was definitely what happened last summer at TM. I think that as the site traffic continues to increase, it would be reasonable to believe the same type of use will continue into summer 2008.

(Only one request - I hope we see less rain than we did in summer 07! banghead )

PS - I'm sure you are probably aware but your car is unique in that it has been owned by 3 TM members (yourself included). It was also the first Aero 8 I saw outside a the Morgan dealer network (Brian took the time to show it to me while I was waiting for my car to be built), so it has a special place in TM-lore happy3

I guess you never saw the photos of my poor Dad's house flooding while he was on holiday last year? My step-sister was house sitting and I suddenly had a call from her in a panic as she watched the water rising and getting closer, and closer, to the house! scared

(ps - thankfully it never came in, although the houses on both sides were flooded for the 2nd time in as many years. My house, which is about 1-mile away, was fine and you'd never know there was any local flooding at all (and my house appears to be on the same level).

I hope its dry now oops

If I get the aero8craft working I let you borrow it innocent

The environment agency spent about £4million on flood defences locally during the summer. Judging from the problems today it might have been better spent on jet ski's.

Thankfully we live on top of a hill (well its 75ft above sea level) so when east anglia is underwater we'll have a beach front property.

This may save you some time grin2 . The Aquada site doesn't seem to be working, so you may need to try this link .

Although the Aero 8 would look cooler, this may be a simpler option.

As for jet skis, I'll take 2 if the goverment are paying party - it would be nice to get something back for once! laugh2

...I do feel very bad for most of the people on the street as the flood did hit them hard. Most had only just managed to have their homes repaired after they had dried out from the previous flood. So much for flood defence!
