Really looking forward to this visit. Just packing a few things, but it's so cold & windy here today (hailstones as I write this), that we will be coming down in the Golf. So see you all bright and early on Monday. I'll bring my red jacket.............

Look forward to seeing you again Dave. You popping into Mr Matty's Emporium on the way...as you pass close to it? evil

Not with MrsW in tow. It takes more guile than that. grin2

I'm still getting the replacement Golf 'sorted out', so until the dust settles from that I'm holding off looking at Loti. Because once I engage with the sales process, I'm not likely to emerge without one. Look what happened to Easter.
I did attend the Club Lotus event at Donington last weekend though, which was an enjoyable couple of hours. What strikes me is how 'cheap' the wedges are. The Excel especially, but even some of the Esprits. They are just a shade too wide for my drive though, so a non starter, and all with very eighties interiors frown2
I looked at a few Elans. Some are barmy money for sheds, but the good ones are minters. This in particular caught my eye!!!!!

But there are a couple of lovely yellow SC Elises out there, and an isotope green one, but it's in Colchester, and private, so a long way to make a private deal with no warranty.

So it's not over by a long way............

Less than 3 hours to go 'til my first drive of a Morgan, very excited and a bit nervous crazy2 Weather looks o.k for a top down drive from Williams Morgan to the Morgan factory, although might be a bit chilly, depending on how good the heater is in a Morgan... cold See you at the factory, Neil drive

That Élan is very tasty Dave. I was looking for a coupe last year and just missed a couple.....they were selling very quickly. I keep an eye out at Matty's....part of the enjoyment is in the searching!
