Might have to save up for that.. Does it provide any BHP gains or acceleration gain? Would it good to try a car with it as see if there is a noticeable difference.

Will have a look at that pipe you mentioned, do you have a pic of it?
Thanks,
Will

It is the only pipe coming off the ECU.
On mine it enters the manifold next to the fuel filter.

Yes I think it gives more BHP but more importantly loads of troque in 3rd

Just to add my 2 pence worth to this. BHM fitted a new manifold to my M16 last week and I am pretty impressed. There may be a placebo effect as the old manifold had sprung a leak and was blowing like a tractor but it feels like the car pulls much better and to slightly higher revs than before.

It certainly sounds a whole lot better with the exhaust exiting 100% from the back of the car too!

I am very pleased with the exhaust manifold and the system. I do believe that the torque through the rev range has been improved. I still like the noise of the open pipe.

I believe BHM get there's from Librands. Whilst mine is Gordon a Kent engine I too am pleased and yes it does allow the engine to more freely rev.

I would like to use this manifold on my Plus 4 1993, I live in Italy and my car is LHD.
I have to modify the brake master cylinder with remote brake booster.
I do not know if the steering column may interfere with the exhaust manifold.
Does anyone know give me the size of the manifold (encumbrance in the depth of the manifold between the head and the bend)?

Hi,
The flange on my downpipe has gone, and as I can't get a replacemnt downpipe am tempted to do it, rarther than repair it..

Couple more questions:
Does the change in manifold make the car nosier at motorway speeds?

Anyone got any figures on Torque / Performance improvements or is it physological given you have spent the cash?

Is it worth £600..

Thanks,
Will

Hi Will

I have a down pipe for a 1997 T16. PM me if you would like it. At least you could use the Mog whilst deciding if you want to change the manifold,
