Has anybody fitted the new spring/damper kit to their Trad? Gerry.

Thanks Richard- I'd missed the end few pages of that thread. Gerry.

Hi Gerry. I fitted the Suplex kit to my 2007 +4 4 seater. It is fairly straightforward and the instructions are very specific. If you have taken the front suspension apart for kingpins/bushes, then it will not be any more complicated. The good part is that the suspension goes back without spring compression! The weight of the car compresses the spring. I have tested the car over all road surfaces, corners, hills and bumps and find it much more composed and the car tracks much better. The suspension is still firm and I think it corners better. It certainly does if there is a bump halfway through

Is there any chance you could find a way of posting the instructions, it would be REALLY useful to see what has to be done. (As someone who has not done front suspension before)

Better to ask PJB. I believe he had a hand in writing them and may have an pdf version.
