I have found the Cibie H4 7" are great - I run 100/90 watt bulbs. I have put in 12 gauge wire and relay for this set up.
BTW - I checked and the alternator is putting out a consistent 60 amps.

i replacing the wire necessary for a light swap? trying to gauge the work in a swap.
